A genuinely child-friendly museum, garden and café—with the rarest luxury of all: a toddler-height sink.

Good food and colouring sets, but cramped buggy space and an awkward menu changeover.

A grown-up steak restaurant that turned out to be remarkably relaxed with children—especially off peak.

No children’s menu—but excellent steak, popcorn, ice cream and staff who made the family feel welcome.

Step-free rail access and a family lane, undermined by fiddly security and a broken water fountain.

A useful play area and good facilities, although the terminal is large and family passport control can drag.

Quick family security and passport control, but an enormous terminal and inconsistent baby facilities.

Small, quick and easy to navigate: probably the most manageable London airport with children.

Compact, step free and thoughtfully equipped with family security, baby pit stops and a soft-play area.
